Urbo Kune Generative Drawing
Experimental generative drawing I made at a performance event "Urbo Kune" at the Holland Festival 2015 in Amsterdam. Urbo Kune means "Common City" in Esperanto. The event attempted to create the utopian capital of the United States of Europe just temporarily for 25 hours. At this 25-hour-lasting musical festival, 10 artists were asked to draw and improvise their "ideal city" on 3 × 2 meter-blackboard.
As one of the artists, I made a live performance with two different organic patterns which overlap and grow infinitely under a certain rule influencing each other but still maintaining their own generative systems and rhythms as if two autonomies co-exist in the same city.
