Inspired by Scarcity

A book about material shortages during World Wars I and II. During times of crisis, the world found itself seeking new ways of dealing with scarcity. Unusual materials and make-shift designs thus surfaced on both personal and social levels. Scarcity was a constraint that forged creative thinking. Stories about different methods of dealing with scarcity were collected from all sorts of sources and compiled into this book. The book was divided into 7 different categories according to the method.
