17人が、それぞれの体験した20年を語る、インタビュー集のデザイン。ページの小口は2000年から2020年の年表になぞられられており、インタビューの中で話されているおおよその年に応じて、水彩模様が配置されています。 表紙のパターンは、17のインタビューに配置された水彩模様をすべて重ねることで、偶発的に生み出されたものです。水彩模様が重なるほど、つまりインタビューの中で多くが語られた年代ほど、色は白に近づき、代わりにインタビューでは語りきれなかった年代が、色彩として浮かび上がってくるようなデザインとしました。
This book features a collection of 17 interviews, highlighting the lives of individuals from 2000-2020. The design features 21 invisible horizontal grids, each representing a year within the 20-year time frame. Watercolor patterns are strategically placed around the pages to correspond with the approximate year in which the interviewee discusses specific life events.
The cover design is comprised of all the watercolor patterns collected from the 17 interviews. The more an interviewee speaks about certain years, the more the background colors appear faded, symbolizing the depth and richness of their 20-year journey that couldn't be fully captured during the interview.
